CM Punk hit back at recent criticism of him wrestling in a t-shirt in the most CM Punk way possible.
Kevin Nash tore into his one-time WWE adversary (cast your mind back to 2011 if you can) for not wrestling topless as the world heavyweight champion.
“I watched Punk in the main event of that match last Monday. Number one, if you’re the heavyweight champion of the WWE and you wrestle in a t-shirt, ouch,” Nash said on his Kliq This podcast.
“Number two, his punches look really slow. He looks slow. I think he’s done. I think Bron should beat him.”
Nash is referring to Bron Breakker, the man who will challenge Punk for his title this coming Monday, the one-year anniversary of RAW on Netflix.

During Tuesday night’s WWE’s live event in Fort Myers, Florida. Punk came to the ring for his match with Bronson Reed wearing a t-shirt, which he normally does.
However, after some teasing, CM Punk took off his shirt – only to reveal another shirt underneath it.
The irony is, during their fued in 2011, it was Punk that was calling Nash old. Now the shoe is on the other foot.
“The Kliq’s back, woo hoo! Yeah! Which is kinda ironic, because ‘click’ is the noise the audience’s remote control makes every time Kevin Nash pops up on their TV screen,” CM Punk told Nash during a promo on WWE RAW. “And – wait, I’m not done – it’s the noise your knees make when you walk!”
CM Punk also has history with Kevin Owens over t-shirts in wrestling.
Back in 2005 during their Ring of Honor days, Punk, a locker room leader at the time, read the riot act to Owens for wearing a t-shirt during his matches.
Owens was essentially a rookie at the time, but it damaged their relationship for years, possibly to this day. KO, who is out with a serious neck injury at the moment, took the chance to enjoy the recent Punk/Nash banter online.
