The Royal Rumble and the road to WrestleMania is just around the corner with WWE’s core storylines beginning to take shape – so who is in line to win WWE’s first premium live event of the year?
The top 10 most likely Royal Rumble winners for the men, per SkyBet, are as followed:
Roman Reigns – 7/4
Bron Breakker – 5/2
Sami Zayn – 3/1
CM Punk – 4/1
Gunther – 6/1
Drew McIntyre – 15/2
Jacob Fatu – 9/1
Dominik Mysterio – 9/1
LA Knight – 10/1
The Rock – 10/1
Some interesting picks in there, for sure. Having Reigns in the title matchup makes a ton of sense, but do you need to win the Royal Rumble to get him there? He teased on RAW facing either of Cody Rhodes or CM Punk at WrestleMania for their titles.
Breakker is an obvious world champion in waiting that you’d imagine will happen either before or at WrestleMania. Seth Rollins would be his naturally banner feud as champion and we can’t tell how long he will be out for.
Jacob Fatu and Dominik Mysterio are future world champions and top stars for the company alongside Breakker, no question. But is there an obvious path to them main eventing next April? Probably not.
Zayn is a compelling choice. They have obviously been leaning towards the Canadian getting his first world title but he’ll need a swell of fan support to make it happen.

Morgan figures to be a favourite as she returns from a long injury layoff and probably returns a babyface in the process. Charlotte Flair did the same last year but one has to imagine Morgan would be better recieved.
Belair has the same going for her, though. She has been out injured for months and now Cargill is champion, natural logic suggests Belair will challenge her at WrestleMania 41 – this would be my pick.
Blake Monroe is a nice outside pick. She is in NXT right now, but she will no doubt have the rocket strapped to her when she makes the move up. She will most likely at least appear int his event.
