LA Knight was written off WWE TV back on December 8 when The Vision dismantled him at the end of RAW.
The following week, WWE announced on RAW that Knight had suffered a cracked sternum and that he was out indefinitely.
According to Bodyslam+, Knight is expected back on WWE programming “very soon.” He could be back as soon as the January 5 episode of RAW.
Next Monday is the one-year anniversary of RAW on Netflix so WWE will be loading up the show with talent. Wrestling Intel understands they are considering using a returning Chris Jericho on the show.

The beatdown Knight suffered at the hands of The Vision culminated with Bronson Reed htiting a Tsunami on The Megastar on the hood of a car.
One would presume Knight will be returning to feud with Paul Heyman’s stable which now stands four-men strong with the addition of Austin Theory.
Fans were worried about Knight’s future when he was written off TV as it was eerily reminiscent of when Ricochet and Dean Ambrose – Jon Moxley – left WWE and they were beaten to put someone else over on their way out.

But, fans need not worry about Knight. Bodyslam.net reported in the wake of his temporary departure that he is expected to well positioned to have a much stronger year in 2026.
As one of the most organically over and popualr superstars on the roster, WWE should indeed make sure he is factored in to their top angles.
If not, the company runs the risk of having his babyface power wane.
