Liv Morgan admits she feared for her WWE career when she was arrested in December 2023.
Morgan, 31, was arrested for possession of cannabis and possession of a cannabis vape pen in Sumter County, Florida.
Her mugshot and the officer’s bodycam footage went viral shortly after the arrest and history shows, WWE do not like that.
Rob Van Dam was the WWE champion back in 2005 when he got arrested for an almost identical offence.

He was promptly suspended from WWE and forced to lose the title.
Appearing on Stephanie McMahon’s “What’s Your Story?” podcast, Morgan dove into the incident and revealed it was somebody else’s vape pen in her car.
“I get pulled over and I did have a little bit of marijuana in the car,” Morgan admitted.
“That really wasn’t the issue. The issue was, and this is fact, someone had left a [synthetic marijuana] vape in my car, [which] is a felony in Florida.”
Morgan knew her best chance was to be co-operative the officers
“Just be nice because this bodycam footage is going to be released.”
Indeed, the footage did come out, but it did it cut off before the ‘meet and greet’ ensued with Morgan.

“Three cop cars pull up as I’m in the back seat and I’m doing a meet and greet,” she said. “I’m [handcuffed] and they’re like, ‘Liv, is work gonna be mad?’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah,’ and they’re taking photos.
“Right away, I was like, ‘I’m gonna get fired’ and I’m so upset.”
Morgan won the Money in the Bank and the WWE Women’s title back in 2022 but she has had plenty of highs since then – no pun intended.
She came runner-up in the Royal Rumble just one month after the arrest and the middle of that year, she’d win the title again from Becky Lynch.
Barring absences for injury, she has remained a top act in the company ever since.
