No one likes to be injured heading into WrestleMania season, but WWE has a few names on the shelf.

Dominik Mysterio and Seth Rollins both have shoulder issues and they’re not the only ones.

Sheamus has undergone shoulder surgery in Birmingham, Alabama following the injury he suffered in John Cena’s last-ever RAW match at Madison Sqaure Garden.

The Irishman was a part of the six-man tag team match alongside Cena and Rey Mysterio against the Judgement Day, a match they won.

The 47-year-old, who is a four-time world champion in WWE, has had a few injury scares in the last few years of his career, including a neck issue that had him considering retirement.

Sheamus’ wife, Isabella Revilla-Farrelly, shared the update on her instagram.

“When I told my husband I wanted to go on one last trip before the end of the year, this is NOT what I meant,” she posted.

“From the Eiffel Tower in Paris to the Trevi Fountain in Rome to La Sagrada Família in Barcelona to… the Birmingham Surgery Center in Alabama — I’m honestly just happy to travel with him.”

Sheamus is now sidelined for a while

Sheamus has one of the most decorated careers in WWE history.

He is a multi-time world champion, he has won the Royal Rumble, King of the Ring and Money in the Bank.

In fact, he has won every single title he can – except the Intercontinental title.

He signed a new five-year WWE deal at the end of 2024, so he has a good four years left to get healthy and finally complete the set.
