Chad Gable hasn’t been on WWE TV since June 9 after suffering a shoulder injury and undergoing surgery.
The 39-year-old was finding great success portraying El Grande Americano (allegedly) before suffering his year-ending injury.
In his absemce, Ludwig Kaiser (again, allegedly) has picked up the ball and even expanded the idea with Rayo and Bravo Americano.
But perhaps not for long as according to Fightful Select, Gable’s return could be imminent.
They report that sources within WWE claim Gable is slated to return to the promotion within the next month.

While the natural place for his return would be the Royal Rumble at the latest, there is hope that he could be returning to the ring even sooner than that.
Gable’s recovery has been going well. Last month, reports emerged that the former Tag Team Champion had been spotted in the WWE Performance Center, training for his return.
The former American Alpha member has continued to train at the PC in Orlando since then and appears ready for action.
Gable is just one of several WWE superstars suffering with shoulder injuries as of late.
Seth Rollins, Dominik Mysterio, Michin and Sheamus have all taken time off due to similar injuries with the latter having just had surgery on the issue.
Gable confimed to Gorilla Position in 2024 that he had signed a new contract with WWE.
