SmackDown GM Nick Aldis still wants to wrestle in WWE, he admits the company is not talking about it.

Speaking on Keeping it 100 with Konnan, Aldis revealed he still has aspirations to wrestle in WWE, but it’s not on the table right now.

“It’s not really been talked about one way or the other,” Aldis admitted.

But when pressed if he’d like to wrestle again, Aldis didn’t miss a beat: “Of course, dude.”

The Brit starred as Magnus in TNA where he was a one-time world champion and he was the face of NWA for five-years until 2022.

He was a two-time world champion there and, of course, had the iconic title matches with Cody Rhodes, one of which took place at the fabled All In event, the genesis of AEW.

In 2023, he arrived in WWE and was hired to be the on-screen personality we see today.

He’s the general manager of SmackDown and time is flying for the 39-year-old.

“I made a commitment to this role. So it’s kind of like, hey, this is my spot on the show, this is my gig.

“And when this was first laid out to me, it was two years ago, which is crazy to think about now that it’s already been two years.”

Aldis has the pedigree to wrestle in WWE and there are plenty of opponents he could work. He has spent a lot of time with Rhodes recently during the Drew McIntyre storyline and that has reminded fans of their undeniable chemistry.
